What Is News To Me

To me news is a way of informing the public of events that affect them in some way and therefore it is necessary for them to know. However it is important that the information is as accurate as possible to maintain the trustworthy image of the news program and the safety of the public.
I also wanted to know what news means to other people other than myself and this is what I found. 

I also included another question asking them 'what makes a good news story', so that I can use these opinions into my groups newscast and produce a newscast that people enjoy and trust.
